- RFQ D-10-HQ-Q-0034, Amendment 3 Attachment B, Amended Exhibit A, Amended The purpose of this amendment is make changes to the RFQ, Exhibit A, and Attachment B as indicated on Form SF-30. This presolicitation notice is being issued by the DEA, pursuant to FAR 5.203(b). The Drug Enforcement Administration/Office of Acquisition Management (DEA/FAC) intends to award, on a small business set-aside basis, one Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Hazardous Waste Removal and Disposal Services, in each of the following areas: Washington, includes the entire state of Washington Idaho, includes entire state of Idaho Montana, includes entire state of Montana North Dakota, includes entire state of North Dakota South Dakota, includes entire state of South Dakota Nebraska, includes entire state of Nebraska Kansas, includes entire state of Kansas Minnesota, includes entire state of Minnesota Wisconsin, includes entire state of Wisconsin New York, includes entire state of New York The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 562112; the average annual receipt is 12.5 million dollars. In addition, the DEA intends to award, on a full-and-open competition basis, one BPA for Hazardous Waste Removal and Disposal Services in each of the following areas: Northern California, which includes the northern portion of the state of California with boundaries including the counties of Mendocino, Lake, Colusa, Sutter, and Placer; Central California, which includes the central portion of the state of California with boundaries including the counties of Sonoma, Napa, Tolo, Sacramento, El Dorado, Monterey, Kings, Tulare, and Inyo; and Southern California, which includes the southern portion of the state of California with boundaries including San Luis Obispo, Kern, and San Bernardino. Issuance of the Request for Quote (RFQ) is anticipated on or around Monday, August 30, 2010. The RFQ will be distributed electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities website. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ and amendments (if any). It is the offerors responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the RFQ and any amendments. It is the DEA's intent that each proposed BPA will have a period of performance of 36 months after the date on which each anticipated BPA becomes effective. The objective of the anticipated BPAs is to secure the services of Hazardous Waste Removal/Disposal Contractors who are qualified to perform the "duties of a generator" of hazardous waste on behalf of law enforcement agencies and to properly manage the hazardous waste seized by those in law enforcement at clandestine drug laboratories, generated by DEA's forensic laboratories, mobile laboratories, training exercises, or by other waste-generating activities authorized by DEA.
