- SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY The U.S. General Services Administration, Great Lakes Region, is issuing a Sources Sought Announcement for the interior renovation of (approximately 3,700 square feet total ) located at the Kastenmier Federal Building & U. S. Courthouse, 120 North Henry, Madison, WI 53703, to determine the interest, availability, and capability of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, 8(a), HUBZone, and Small Business concerns as described below. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The work includes squad room, command and control center, galley, vault, office, and secure detention area including detention cells, interview rooms, and processing. The work shall address all Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Life and Safety equipment devices alterations necessary in order to provide a functional office facility for the day -to -day operation of the client agency. The project also includes the furnishings and installation of air handling unit. The full extent of the work will be described in the solicitation when it is posted. No other information will be available before the solicitation is posted. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for planning purposes only. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, 8(a), HUBZone, or Small Businesses with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. All interested parties should submit a capabilities package to include business classification (i.e. SDVOSB, HUBZone, etc..), as well as examples of three projects completed within the last five years that included the work specified above that will be required under this project (including detention cells, and vaults pursuant to AWI standards), and provide a total project cost in the same range estimated for this project.
