Description
RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): W912HQ-10-D-0004, W912HQ-10-D-0005, AND W912HQ-10-D-0006. This is only a notice that this Task Order will be 78% (based on the Official Government Estimate) funded using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds. Review of Eight (8) Midwest Ecosystem Output Models The work to be performed under the awarded Task Order will be to conduct a review of the quality of the 8 ecosystem output models listed below, identify deficiencies, and offer recommendations to improve the models in accordance with procedures described in Department of the Army, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Planning Models Improvement Program, Model Certification (E.C. 1105-2-407), the Protocols for Certification of Planning Models (July 2007), and the Office of Management and Budget Final Information Quality Bulletin for Peer Review (16 December 2004). Reviews may be conducted concurrently or sequentially, and a single reviewer may review, identify deficiencies, and recommend updates for more than one model (e.g., AHAG and Bluegill models could be reviewed by the same Fisheries Ecologist/Biologist). The following eight (8) ecosystem output models that are used to quantify benefits for ecosystem restoration projects and quantify impacts and conduct mitigation planning for other civil works projects in the Upper Midwest Region. 1.Aquatic Habitat Appraisal Guide (AHAG) 2.Bluegill Winter Habitat Suitability Index Model 3.Diving Duck Migration Habitat Suitability Index Model 4.Dabbling Duck Migration Suitability Index Model 5.Shorebird Migration Suitability Index Model 6.Wildlife Habitat Appraisal Guide (WHAG; Wetland/Upland Matrices) 7.Smallmouth Bass Habitat Suitability Index Model 8.Modification of the Habitat Suitability Index Model for Mink Because this Task Order will be funded using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds, the following clauses will be included and are applicable for this Task Order: 52.203-15, 52.204-11, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5.
