Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6 Streamline Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items and Subpart 13.5 Test Program For Certain Commercial Items of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items under solicitation number N00189-10-T-0575. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies for which the government intents to negotiate with only one source: L-3 Communications Narda Satellite, 435 Moreland Road, Hauppauge, New York, 11788, (631) 231-1700. FISC Norfolk intent to purchase the following item(s) for COMPATRECOGROUP: 1 EA. HIGH WIND RADOME TENT- COLOR TAN- P/N 12000-A80171-1 1 EA. VESTIBULE FOR HIGH WIND RADOME TENT- P/N 12000-01561 1 EA. REPAIR KIT FOR HIGH WIND TENT- P/N 16500-01712 The tents must be designed to withstand winds up to 80 MPH as well as provide protection from severe environmental conditions. The tents measurements should be 18 ™L x 18 ™ x 14.6 ™H (4,730 cubic feet), 4 each ECU Ports on either side and 4 each Cable Ports that can be closed when not in use, 4 each windows/ screens (two each side), one door (7 ™x 6 ™) enlarged access for moving equipment in and out. The door should have replaceable zip system and Velcro dust seal flaps. The tent must be easily deployed and transportable on a single standard pallet. The exterior should be made of the highest quality Mil Spec stop-rip vinyl. The shelter frame should be made of durable aluminum construction and requires no tools or ladders for assembly. Freight Charges if applicable This requirement will be unrestricted. Other interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote. Contractors shall submit their quote to FISC Norfolk no later than 21 September 2010 (4:30 pm Eastern Standard Time).
