Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center intends to negotiate a purchase order on a sole source basis to PC3Solutions of San Ramon, CA for a three (3) year lease of Quick Link, 3G Portable Cellular Communication System with power and data cabling in order to support the Naval Post Graduate School. This requirement is being issued on a sole source basis to PC3 Solutions as the manufacturer of this equipment has an exclusive distribution contract that makes the QuickLink portable/mobile 3G cellular base service set unavailable through any other source. The specifications of this requirement are as follows: WCDMA signals, high data rates (uplink of 2Mbps/downlink of 6Mpbs), user capacity 1200, and in a small factor form (man protable). Commercial procedures will be used. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all quotes received within five (7) days (small purchase procedures are being used) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
