- VA Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach, California intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Alliant Healthcare, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-5 Authorized by Statute and Public Law 108-18. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This BOS announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued; a separate written solicitation will NOT be issued. Request for Quotation is VA-262-10-RQ-0520. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334510 and the small business size standard is considered 500 employees. This procurement is for the purchase of medical equipment (Stryker Camera and other items). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government shall consider all proposals received by 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time Sept 15, 2010. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries shall be accepted.
