Description
Solicitation for Airfield LIghting Bid Schedule for Airfield Lighting Performance Work Statement for Airfield Lighting The 633d Contracting Squadron announces a solicitation for non-personal services for an airfield lighting maintenance contract to be performed at Langley AFB, VA. The requirement is unrestricted and will be on a firm-fixed price basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this solicitation is 541519 and the small business dollar threshold is $25,000,000.00. A brief description of the requirement is as follows: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, and perform all operations necessary to perform a comprehensive package of diagnostics and testing of the Airfield Lighting Computer System by certified technicians with a follow up detailed report of work and actions that took place. The contractor shall inspect the ALCS semi-annually. Contractor shall also be available for emergency repairs to the ALCS as required. Please see attached PWS for more detail. The expected period of performance will be one (1) base year plus four (4) option years. The estimated performance start date is 1 Oct 10. The total contract period of performance will not exceed 60 months. Paper copies of the solicitation and amendments will not be mailed. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award. Instructions for registering are available at the CCR website. Submittals: Offerors must fill out the solicitation document and the accompanying Bid Schedule in their entirety. For submittal details see attached solicitation document. Site Visit: A site visit will be conducted for all interested parties on 16 Sept 2010 at 1000. All interested parties must provide notice no later than 15 Sept 2010 COB to allow the Government addequate time to make arrangements for base access.
