- Description
- The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center is interested in acquiring specialized surveying services to Decommission the Nuclear Medicine Department and 22 radioactive material used laboratories. This is a specialized survey to decommission the Nuclear Medicine Department per Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidlines utilizing the Multi agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigation Manuel (MARSSIM). The process is very comprehensive and highly scrutinized by the VA National Health Physicis Program and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. We require a company that is highly experienced for this type of operation and will be able to perfom the functions and provide a final report within our time frame. This procurement was advertised as Sources Sought notice VA256-10-RP-0523, but it is currently VA256-10 RQ-0646.
