- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: W912LM-10-R-4011 Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items, Item Description: REPAIR ANFUL VERTICAL HIGH EXPANSION FOAM BLADDER TANK This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W912LM-10-R-4011 is hereby issued as a FOB Destination Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement 325998. FOB Destination: Minnesota Air National Guard, 148th FW CE,, Duluth, MN 55811-6035. Payment: Payment by Wide Area Work Flow. Contractors using WAWF must register online at https://wawf.eb.mil. You can find more information on WAWF and the registration process on the WAWF training site; http://www.wawftraining.com. Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order will be issued in writing. Duluth ANG, Minnesota has a requirement for: Item #1 The Fall Arrest System Shall consists of an enclosed Track with a sealed bearing trolley. This will be awarded on a best value determination by the Contracting Officer. Clause 52.232-1 Pending the Availability of Funds is included in this requirement Quotes will be evaluated on a best value determination as well as price related factors,. Statement of Work: Provide and install all materials and labor to properly repair the existing Anful Vertical High Expansion Foam (HEF) bladder tank in the mechanical room in bldg 500. End result shall be a fully functional foam suppression system, tested and placed back into service. Work to include draining the existing foam tank for water and HEF solution, piping work necessary for the removal of the existing bladder system and replacement with new followed by appropriate testing, reassembly of the tank, refilling the bladder system with 500 gallons of 2 % HEF foam solution, pressurizing the system and conduction any final inspections and testing to confirm that the system will operate properly. Also included is cleanup and proper disposal of all waste materials. Period of performance is anticipated to be approximately 1-2 working days. Please price in the following format.
