Description

PWS CDRLs Provide software maintenance engineering and technical services to fabricate upgrade kits for the Signal Processor Computer (SPC), part number 881900-427 and the Signal Data Converter (SDC), part number 881800-427 as part of the MC-130H APQ-170 Block Cycle 004 upgrade. DRS, Systems and Sustainment, INC (DRS-SSI) is the only known source found that is currently capable of providing software maintenance engineering and technical services to fabricate upgrade kits for the SPC and SDC as part of the MC-130H APQ-170 Block Cycle 004 upgrade. Software in the Signal Processing Computer (SPC) and Signal Data Converter (SDC) has to be modified. Modifying SDC software requires installing new electronic program read only memory (EPROM) chips because the current EPROMs will be destroyed when they are removed from the SDC. The EPROMs are non-commercial items, and DRS is the only source for the modified software code necessary to conduct the reprogramming
