Description
The Space and Naval Warfare Center, Atlantic Charleston, SC code 22581 has arequirement for the evaluation and repair of 13 each circuit card assemblies manufactured by Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a Mercury Computer Systems product listed below under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Mercury Computer Systems is located at 201 Riverneck Road, Chelmsford, MA 01824-2820. Mercury Computer Systems is the sole manufacturer and hold proprietary rights to the equipment. Award is anticipated by COB 14 September 2010. Contract is to be FOB Origin shipped to Receiving Officer, SPAWARSYSCEN, Atlantic, 2921 Avenue B. North, Bldg. 1639, North Charleston, SC 29405-1639 and shall be marked for (M/F) as specified. The contract line item number (CLIN) and description for this procurement are:***CLIN 0001 0013 P/N 910-08127, evaluation and repair of 13 each Circuit Card Assemblies. Problem: They will not power up; UNKNOWN.***This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes for items other than the brand name Mercury Computer Systems equipment listed in this synopsis***The Government will accept quotes from all responsible sources with the capability to provide the services to the brand name cited above and will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Quotes are due to Michelle Cope, Business Specialist, SPAWARSYSCEN, Atlantic by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 14 September 2010. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a Brand Name based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received. The government will accept proposals via email at: michelle.cope@navy.mil.
