- Statement of Work This is a posting for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z384244A001. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-45, Effective 30 August, DCN 20100908, and AFAC 2010-0903, effective September 03, 2010. This acquisition will be solicited as 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326192. The business size standard is 750 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 7220. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3996. Requirement Description: Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for the replacment of the corridor tiles in the fitness center. The requirement is as follows CLIN0001- PROVIDE LINOLEUM FLOOR TILE TO MATCH EXISTING FLOOR TILES: FORBO MARBOLEUM 13"x13"x2.5mm. COLORS WILL BE 70% GRAPHITE, 20% DOVE BLUE, AND 10% DEEP OCEAN. CLIN 0002- ADHESIVE (4 GAL CANS) CLIN 0003- DEMO/REMOVE EXISTING FLOORING (PREPARE SUBSTRATE AS REQUIRED) CLIN 0004- INSTALL LINOLEUM FLOOR TILES CLIN 0005- PROVIDE AND INSTALL 6" RUBBER COVE BASE. COLOR TO MATCH EXISTING: BLACK-BROWN CLIN 0006- OVERTIME LABOR FOR EVENING AND SATURDAY WORK Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. Please provide quotes valid until 1 October 2010. The following provisions/clauses apply to this solicitation: FAR clauses: FAR 52.237-1 Site Visit: Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Site Visit: A site visit will be scheduled for 17 September 2010 at 9:00 a.m. If you plan on attending you will need to email me by 16 September 2010 letting me know you wish to attend. We will be meeting in the parking lot of the visitors center adjacent to the Travis AFB Pass and Registration Center at 08:45 a.m to gather and take accountability, the van will be leaving the visitor center at 09:00 a.m to proceed to the site. You will not need to obtain a base pass because transportation will be provided by 60 CONS. As a failsafe measure you should bring your vehicle registration, proof of insurance in case you have to bring your vehicle on base. Please bring something to write with so you can write down any questions you may have for the customer. You are required to submit all of your questions in writing within 2 Business days of site visit (21 August 2010) and all of the answers will be posted on FedBizOps. This is to ensure a fair solicitation process to all potential contractors.
