Description
W912LA-10-R-8009 EALS SOLICITATION EALS Training Kit This solicitation is for an abbreviated Emergency Airfield Lighting System (EALS) for training users on the EALS equipment currently in the field (USAF PN 98752/88119653-3). The system shall include the equipment necessary to train on the installation, operation and maintenance procedures contained in Air Force Handbook 10-222, Volume 7 for a 50' X 5,000' uni-directional MOS. The hardware should at a minimum include one MEP-805B generator set equipped with an EALS remote start kit (PN 98752/200622999-1). QTY: 3 The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, technical acceptability, delivery, past performance, and the overall best value (as determined by the Government) - The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes or the total price for the requirement. Technical and price factors, when combined, are equal. Along with the quote, offerors shall provide a list of past performance references, as well as a complete list of the proposed hardware and a description of how the hardware configuration will allow for the training described. 1. Quote shall conform to the CLIN structure as established in this synopsis/solicitation. 2. Quotes shall be valid for 30 days after close of solicitation. 3. All questions or comments must be provided to the Contract Officer in writing; telephone and other means of oral communication will not be permitted.
