- This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 611420, Dollar Standard $7.0 Mil. Solicitation/ Purchase Request number F2KDAC0215A001 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43 effective 02 Aug 2010. The Government intends to award on contract line item number: Description: Training for Software Developers in Test Driven Development Provided that the funds will come through, the services needed will be needed on or before 9/30/10. CLIN 0001-AA: Test-Driven Development (TDD) training should teach participants the sustainable approach to TDD. Contractor will furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities, and transportation necessary to provide services and/or equipment listed below: At completion of training participants should: Know how to analyze requirements to obtain better tests Know how to write unit tests Know how to use integration testing Know how to refactor legacy code Know why and how to be "test-driven development? oriented when developing software Know how to adopt TDD for infrastructure changes, for measuring effectiveness and quality of code and for adjusting to levels of quality when necessary Know how to use continuous and robust testing techniques Other knowledge and skills that the vendor deems necessary for participants to know TDD Training must be specifically tailored to HQ AFSC software development. Prior to on-site training, each vendor must factor a minimum of 2 hours to work with HQ AFSC customizing the curriculum, course content, and lab exercises tailored to the infrastructure used by HQ AFSC/SEAC software developers. Post-Training Support (8 hours included) Training for up to 16 students. UNIT OF MEASURE: EA DESIRED DELIVERY DATE: 30 ADC Inspection and Acceptance: DESTINATION. The following provisions apply to this procurement: Per FAR 52.232.18, Funds are not presently available for this requirement. The Government's obligation under this solicitation is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from fallout funding. No legal liability on the part of the Government for payment of any money shall arise unless, and until, funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this procurement and award has been made by the Contracting Officer.
