- Description
- The U.S. Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration(WAPA),Sierra-Nevada Regional Office (SNR), intends to award a sole-sourcecontractfor software training to Areva T&D INC, 10865 Willows RD NE, Redmond, WA.Authority for other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1)andFAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or serviceswillsatisfy agency requirements. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12. This is a Brand Name, Vendor specificrequirementfor the follow-on software support training. The resulting purchase orderwillbe fixed price. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However,allinterest and capability statements must be received by the Government nolaterthan 16 Sept 2010, at 4:00 PM PDST to be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solelywithinthe discretion of the Government. The applicable North American IndustryClassification System (NAICS) Code is 511210; Size Standard is $25 Million.
