- Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) intends to issue a sole-source award that will result in a Purchase Order to Maximus Federal Services, Inc., 11419 Sunset Hills Road, Reston, VA 20190 for reviews of disputed claims and reviews for emergency services, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Items. The authority for the sole source is FAR 13.106(b) (1). Soliciting from a single source; purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541990. THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE IS TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF FAR SUBPART 5.2. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all parties interested in this procurement must submit a capability statement within three (3) calendar days from the date of this notice. Submissions after that date will not be considered. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, any requests for the solicitation will be considered non-responsive. Interested parties wishing to submit their questions, interest, and capabilities must do so in writing via email. Oral and facsimile requests for information will be considered non-responsive. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is at the sole discretion of the Government. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required prior to execution of award. If no responses are received, an award shall be made to Maximus Federal Services, Inc. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to terri.miller@opom.gov.
