********SEND ALL QUOTES IN WRITING TO TERESA MUELLER, DFSI, ATteresa.a.mueller@nasa.gov********* This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation. Quotes must be submitted no later than Monday, September 20, 2010, 12:00pmCST. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ)] for One (1) Shaker Systemper the attached specifications. This notice is being re-issued as a result of ambiguousspecifications to the previous solicitation NNM10346983Q for 'Electromagnetic VibrationTest System'. Interested vendors shall submit quotes for the required shaker system perthe attached revised specifications. Note: The quoter's proposed controller shallinterface and be compatible with the host PC referenced in the specifications.Thequoter's proposed system shall be 508 Compliant pursuant to FAR Subpart 39.2, whichimplements Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794d), and theArchitectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board Electronic and InformationTechnology (EIT) Accessibility Standards (36 CFR Part 1194). This requires that whenacquiring EIT, agencies must ensure that (1) federal employees with disabilities haveaccess to and use of information and data that is comparable to the access and use byFederal employees who are not individuals with disabilities; and (2) members of thepublic with disabilities seeking information or services from an agency have access toand use of information and data that is comparable to the access to and use ofinformation and data by members of the public who are not individuals with disabilities. The quoter shall state in their quote their size status for this procurement.All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. However, any award from this RFQ will require the potential vendor to be certified withinthe online Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations andCertifications Application (ORCA) databases prior to award. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to MSFC. Quoters shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JUNE 2008), Instructionsto Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in thereferenced FAR clause 52.225-3 entitled 'Buy American Act -- Supplies,' the quoter shallso state and shall list the country of origin.FAR 52.212-4 (JUNE 2010), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable. FAR 52.212-5 (JULY 2010), Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes orExecutive Orders-Commercial Items is applicable and the following identified clauses areincorporated by reference: 52.204-7, 52.209-6, 52.211-90, 52.212-3, 52.219-6,52.219-28,52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.225-3, 52.225-13,52.227-14, 52.232-33, 52.232-90, 52.239-1, 52.246-90, 52.247-34, 52.252-2, 1852.215-84,1852.223-72, 1852.237-73.
