Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract in accordance to FAR 6.302-5 (a) (6), authorized or required by statue. The Human Resource Management Section at the Providence VA Medical Center requires a Human Resource Specialist. Under statue 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) the Providence VA Medical Center intends to make a sole source award of this requirement to The Skill Bureau, 129 Tremont Street, 2nd floor, Boston, MA 02108-4713. Pursuant to FAR 17.206 the Government intends to award this contract for a Base Year with One (1) One (1) Year Options. The proposed contract action is for a Human Resource Specialist required for services needed at the Medical Center. The Skill Bureau is a VOSB and has performed this service in the past with experience and the capabilities required. The Government intends to award to only one source The Skill Bureau under the authority of FAR 6.302-5 (a) (6) and in compliance with VAAR 819,7008 Sole Source Award to Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available.
