- Description
- The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VAMC, Jackson, MS intends to award a sole source award to Metro Medical Support Services for the purchase of an OPMI Lumera 700 Ophthalmology Floorstand Microscope. Carl Zeiss Meditec is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the Humphrey/Zeiss line of ophthalmic and surgical products. The Zeiss/Humphrey line of ophthalmic diagnostic products is sold through direct sales representatives with geographic territory alignments. Sales to the US federal government are sold through a contractual agreement with metro Medical Services of St. Louis, Missouri. The attached Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is attached that includes the rationale for this procurement.
