Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Acquisition and Property Division, Beltsville, MD intends to issue a sole source award to CAB International, 875 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02139-3067 for electronic access via the internet for all USDA users to CABI eBooks Archive, with perpetual data rights to the content. The CAB eBooks Archive (2000-2004) includes 230 books published by CABI between 2000 and 2004, in agricultural subjects such as Agriculture, Animal and Veterinary Sciences, Human, Food and Nutrition Sciences, Plant Sciences and Environmental Sciences. The Government believes that only one responsible source, CAB International, can satisfy USDA'S requirements. Interested parties may submit an offer for consideration no later than 1:00 PM EST on September 21, 2010. Responses received after the specified due date and time will not be considered for award. Capability must include the provision of perpetual data rights to journal content. If no affirmative responses are received by the closing date and time, an award to CAB International will be made. The determination to open this action for competition is solely at the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
