- The following notice is a Sources Sought in accordance with FAR 19.202-2. This is the information gathering stage of the Market Research process. The Government is attempting to find prospective businesses who may be interested in competing for a Firm Fixed Price one time purchase of Medrad Stellant Dual Injector with Pedestal and additional parts at the VA Boston Healthcare System (BHS) - Jamaica Plain Campus. Items would be needed for delivery by September 30, 2010. The BHS will use the information gathered from this sources sought to determine the availability for commercial purchase for the Boston, Massachusetts area, and to also develop a potential bidders list. The analysis of the information gathered could result in a socio-economic set aside. Description and Salient Characteristics: The Medrad Stellant D Injection System with pedestal and integral IV pole is a dual syringe injection system for CT contrast exams, including Cardiac CT and Coronary CTA. Upgrade to Dual Flow option is available. This notice is not to be construed as an acquisition Request for Information (RFI) nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The BHS is only trying to identify any firm not listed on any mandatory source.
