- The following notice is a Sources Sought Notice in accordance with FAR 19.202-2. This is the information gathering stage of the Market Research process. The Government is attempting to find prospective business who may be interested in competing for a Firm Fixed Price one time purchase of an AMD 2500 General Exam Camera at the VA Boston Healthcare System (BHS) - West Roxbury Campus. The BHS will use the information gathered from this sources sought to determine the availability for commercial purchase for the Boston, Massachusetts area, and to also develop a potential bidders list. The analysis of the information gathered could result in a socio-economic set aside. Description and Salient Characteristics: The AMD-2500 video imaging system is the first camera to combine power zoom, auto focus, frame capture and electronic image polarization in one device. Scope of Work: The Contractor/Vendor shall supply the following item for a One-time purchase for the BHS: CLIN 001 - #AMD-2500 - AMD 2500: GENERAL EXAM CAMERA NTSC FORMAT - QTY: 6 EA After the review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be published in the Federal Business Opportunities website: www.FEDBIZOPS.gov/ at a future date. This notice is not to be construed as an acquisition Request for Information (RFI) nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The BHS is only trying to identify any firm not listed on any mandatory source. Any firm not registered must register as required at the following websites VETBIZOPS - www.VETBIZOPS.com and CCR - www.CCR.gov and ORCA - www.ORCA.gov as required to participate in the upcoming solicitation. Responses to this notice must include the following information: Company name, Address, Point of Contact, and capability to provide the following items. In addition, please respond to the following questions: - What is your company's DUNS #? - Can your firm provide initial inventory of all items listed to be place at the facility in the agreed upon storage location within 10 days of award? If not, how many days? - Does your company have a GSA contract with these items listed? - Please provide GSA contract number and expiration date. - Is your business a large or small business? -How many employees are currently employed with your company? - What is your socio-economic status, if any? (i.e. SDVOSB, SB, etc.) -Is your company foreign-owned A brief summary is all that is needed versus a detailed proposal. If more information is needed you will be contacted.
