- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER: MATOC As part of Operations and Maintenance, Army, Recovery Act, this modification has been issued to HDB Construction, Inc., to perform the following work: Place a 2-inch asphalt overlay over the following areas: (1) Mound Valley north loop repair areas road D; 236 SY. (2) Mound Valley group camp road C-1 and parking; 3450 SY. (3) Timberhill boat ramp parking area; 6030 SY. (4) Timberhill Rd B; 2640 SY. (5) Timberhill Rd A from boat ramp to Rd B; 2209 SY (6) Cherryvale Park road A approx sta 2+00 to 20+50 and parking areas; 4870 SY. Asphalt materials and placement shall meet Kansas Department of Transportation specifications; with tack coat and 2 inch asphalt overlay. All transitions into pullouts are to be a minimum of 2 feet. Transitions into existing asphalt are to be milled to a depth of 2 inches. Asphalt leveling course shall be used in place of Full Depth Road Repair. All work shall be completed as defined in the base MATOC contract. Eliminate micropaving and change to 2-inch asphalt overlay by reducing total quantities.
