- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT RESULT IN AN ORDER AGAINST AN FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE. ANY OFFER WHICH IS PREDICATED UPON THE AWARD BEING PLACED AGAINST AN FSS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: (a) NAICS: 315999 (b) NR OF EMPLOYEES: 500 Employees The purchase of 208 Point Blank Vision Level IIIA (NIJ.06) concealable body armor vests. Sizes are as follows: Female - Medium 50 Each Female - Large 25 Each Male - Small 1 7 Each Male - Medium 50 Each Male - Large 50 Each Male - X-Large 16 Each Mfr: Point Blank Justification for Brand Name Only: The government's requirement is limited to Point Blank Vision Level IIIA due to the unique properties of the vest (temperature regualting technologies, antimicrobial protection and electroshock protection). Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote should include your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number. Requested delivery date is 30 days ARO or earlier. Quotations should be emailed to Deborah Middlebrooks (deborah.middlebrooks@robins.af.mil) no later than 20 Sep 2010, 2:00 pm EST. The anticipated award date is 22 Sep 2010. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation (current through FAC 2005-44 dated 8 Jul 2010 and DFARS Change Notice 20100713): FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (Rev'd Aug 09) (Added: (n) Prohibition on Contracting with Inverted Domestic Corporations.) FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items FAR 52-212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000 FAR 52.247-34 FOB Destination DFARS 252.232.7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests (WAWF is the method used by DoD for processing invoices/receiving reports.) In accordance with Clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be price and price related factors.
