Description
The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircrew Systems Program Office (PMA202), Patuxent River, MD, intends to increase the scope of work under contract number N00019-10-C-0007, which was a non-competitive sole source contract awarded to Vision Systems International, (VSI) LLC of San Jose, CA to procure Joint Helmet Cueing System (JHMCS) 40-degree Night Vision Cueing and Display (NVCD) hardware and associated Support Equipment (SE). The increased scope of work is for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334511 Night Vision Equipment; and shall include line items for providing the following data related to contract N000019-10-C-0007: Failure Modes Determination and Analysis, Reliability Prediction Analysis, Economic Level of Repair Analysis, 126 Test Set Adapter Kit Manufacturing Transition Plan, Quality Program Plan, and Production Assessment Review in support of the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System Night Vision Cueing Display (JHMCS NVCD) program. This action will be expressed in a modification to NAVAIR contract N00019-10-C-0007 with VSI. VSI is the only firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, and experience to perform this effort within the required time frame for all items to be included in this contract. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which may be considered by NAVAIR. Expressions of interest in subcontracting should be directed to Mrs. Sandra Brown-Grossinger at Vision Systems International, LLC (VSI), 641 River Oaks Parkway, San Jose, CA 95134-1907. (See Notes Numbered 24) This notice does not constitute an RFP and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject equipment.
