Description
The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) intends to negotiate solely with the Regents of the University of Colorado located at 1380 Lawrence Street, Denver, CO 80204, under authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1); Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. The Regents of the University of Colorado is the only responsible source capable of providing the following services to DOL's National Veteran's Training Institute (NVTI): 1) developing and updating course materials and curricula; 2) utilizing and developing online training, modalities, webcasts, podcasts and other web-based training resources; 3) maintaining an electronic Resource and Technical Assistance Center; 4) providing more than 100 training sessions annually; 5) providing program facilitation and administration; and 6) coordinating lodging for course participants (including those with disabilities). This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. Any interested party who believes they can provide the required services may respond by submitting a capability statement to the email address in this notice. The capability statement must include price information and describe in detail the party's ability, qualifications, and experience providing the services listed at 1-6 above. All submissions must be received within 10 calendar days of the publication date of this synopsis. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a comprehensive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. If DOL does not identify other acceptable sources capable of meeting this requirement, DOL shall award a contract to the Regents of the University of Colorado. The period of performance shall cover one year: (1) 3-month Base Period (On or about 09/28/2010-12/27/2010) with (1) 9-month Option Period (12/28/2010-09/27/2011).
