- Recovery Action - This modification is issued to obligate American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) of 2009 funds to the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory for Fluid imaging of Enhanced Geothermal Systems through Joint 3D Geophysical Inverse Modeling in accordance with FWP# ESD09·010. The contract is a cost reimbursement contract because of the uncertainties of the research mission of the laboratory makes it impossible to estimate with reasonable accuracy the costs of performance making the firm, fixed price contract type inappropriate.
