- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.106-1. The US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Contracting Center, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following items: 1 year of Software Maintenance for custom built software provided by Intergraph for the Installation Emergency 911/CAD system: IPS.M.IPS0001I/Executive 1 ea IPS.M.IPS0002I/Dispatche 4 ea IPS.M.IPS0007I/Executive 2 1 ea IPS.M.IPS00042I/NetViewer 5 Users 1 ea The intended period of performance for the maintenance is October 1, 2010 to September 30, 2011. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Intergraph Corporation, 170 Graphics Drive, Madison, Alabama 35758-8802.. Only Intergraph can provide Maintenance Support for (I/Executive, I/Dispatcher, I/Executive 2, I/NetViewer, which is compatible with the current Emergency 911 / CAD System. Because the Intergraph system is proprietary, no other type of maintenance support is compatible and/or acceptable. This firm is the sole developer/manufacturer /distributor of the product. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the Business Size Standard is $25.00. All responses received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 3:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, September 22, 2010. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
