Description
The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to purchase on a sole source basis, maintenance services to prevent system failure on the installed Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) for building 3537 located in Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story (JEBLCFS). The contractor is Emerson Network Power, Liebert Corporation, 610 Executive Campus Drive, Westerville, OH 43082. The proposed contract action will be a Firm Fixed Price and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 811219. The size standard is $7.0M. The period of performance consists of a base period of one year with four one-year option periods. The anticipated start date is September 30, 2010. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. THE RFQ IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
