- Limited Sources Justification Request for Quote Sheet 1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-07 and Defense Change Notice 20060123. 3) The standard industrial classification code is 3577 Computer Peripheral Equipment NAICS 334119, 1,000 employees. 4) DESCRIPTION: a)(CLIN) 0001 (38 EA) - L3 KIV-7M Non-Rugged Chassis, Dual Housing Unit with two power supplies b) (CLIN) 0002 (38 EA) - L3 KIV-7M Connector Conversion KIV to RS530 (Rear Interface) c) (CLIN) 0003 (6 EA) - KIV 19M Chassis 5030 5) DELIVERY: POE: Tracy, CA (shipping charge must be included in product cost) to DDSJ San Joaquin Tracy, CA 6) Delivery Period: The contractor shall deliver all items by 30 DAYS ARO 7) The following provisions applies to this acquisition: FAR 52-212-1 Instructions to offerors-Commercial items FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial items: paragraph (a) add, The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Price 2. Technical Capability Paragraph(c) add, A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
