- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis /solicitation for the annual and monthly fire extinguisher inspection for the John Day Dam. This procurement also calls for hydrostatic testing of fire extinguishers. Contractors shall also service the CO2 system, Emergency Breathing Apparatuses, Self Contained Breathing Apparatuses, Compressed Gas Cylinders (both Nitrogen and Oxygen bottles), Medical Equipment, and the Fixed Sprinkler Systems at The John Day Dam, in accordance with the Statement of Work attached at the end of the solicitation. Locations of the fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and medical equipment are supplied in the separate attachments that accompany the solicitation. For a Quote to be responsive and to be considered, Offerors shall bid on all Contracting Line Item Numbers, CLINs, in the solicitation and provide responses/documentation for FAR Clause 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items (JAN 1999). Bids and supporting documentation must be received by the closing date of 4;00 PM Pacific Standard Time Friday 24 September 2010.
