- Performance Work Statement NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska intends to award a sole source contract to Meggitt Training Systems. Meggitt Training Systems will be providing Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson with: Target Retrieval System Preventative Maintenance/Emergency Repair In Accordance with Statement of Work. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.501. The anticipated award date is 01 October 2010 (Subject to the Availability of Funds IAW 52.232-18 - Availability of Funds). Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 24 September 2010 at 12 pm Alaskan Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this Synopsis is 24 September 2010 at 12:00 PM Alaskan Time.
