(Brand Name or Equivalent) Solicitation# APHIS-S-10-438309 Sb set aside under: NAICS CODE - 423450 - Medical, Dental, and Hospital Equipment and Supplies merchant wholesaler Size Standard 100 Employees Should have been Unrestricted under: NAICS - 334519 - Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing Bus Size - 500 Empl Small business set aside is hereby dissolved and reward to Large business quote due to the fact that the Non manufacturer rule was overlooked on solicitation APHIS-S-10-438309, and there was actually no expectation of receiving a Small Business Manufacturer's quote for the above subject item. In accordance with the nonmanufacturing rule in FAR 19.502-2 (c) and FAR 52.219-14. One should not set it aside if the source is a large business and the small business is just a distributor, unless waived. Currently there is no waiver for any items in the NAICS Category of 334519... at this time.
