- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, has a requirement for a construction contract to update the existing relays protecting the Third Power Plant circuits and the tie to the 230-kV Switchyard at the Grand Coulee Project, Washington. Principal components of the work consist of replacing 7 sets of 500-kV relays, furnishing and installing a fiber optic communication system for the relays, and furnishing and installing a 10'x12' control building. The work will be performed in the 500-kV, 230-kV, and 125-kV switchyards and the 500-kV spreading yard, located near the Left, Right, and Third Power Plants, on the Columbia River, adjacent to the City of Coulee Dam, Washington, approximately 90 miles west of Spokane, Washington, in Grant and Okanogan Counties. This requirement will be issued as a negotiated request for proposals, and specific evaluation factors for the project will be detailed in the solicitation. This requirement is issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is not set-aside for small business concerns. The estimated dollar range of this procurement is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 237130 and the small business size standard is $33.5 million.
