- BRAND NAME J&A (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items; prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and 13.5, streamlined procedures for evaluation and solicitation for commercial items- as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number, F1W1S60228A002, Harris Brand UHF/VHF Manpack Radio (AN-PRC-117F) and associated equipment is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-45. (iv) This solicitation is restricted as a brand name requirement. The associated NAICS code is 334220 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This solicitation is for Harris Corporation parts. If Harris Corporation brand is quoted, the offeror must submit documentation that they are authorized to resell Harris Corporation products. Only new parts will be accepted.
