- USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to issue a sole source award to FEI Company, 5350 NE Dawson Creek Dr, Hillsboro, OR 97124-5793 to furnish and deliver one Joystick and one Manual User Interface for a Nova NanoSEM 650. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to procure from only one source under the test program for commercial items per FAR 13.106-1(b), Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The ERDC requires one Joystick and one Manual User Interface for a Nova NanoSEM 650 to include delivery at the ERDC in Vicksburg, MS. This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures per FAR 13. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation to the Contract Specialist by 03:00 PM CST, Thursday, September 23, 2010.
