- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. THIS NOTICE IS IN REFEENCE TO THE PRE-AWARD NOTICE AND THE AWARD NOTICE. THIS ACQUISITION IS BEING AWARDED UNDER THE GSA FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE - GROUP 70 - SIN 132 51. In accordance with FAR Part 5.7, Publicizing Requirements Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, this is a notification that the Center for Information Technology (CIT), National Institutes of Health (NIH), intends to award a competitively awarded, FIXED Price/Time and Material GSA Federal Supply Schedule Award, entitled - RECOVERY - Installation of Cabling for Building 10 F-Wing, Phase A - Cable Project. The purpose of this award is in support of the NIH mission, DNST required a Siemon and Sumitomo Certified Contractor for the design and installation of cabling for the NIH Building 10 F-Wing, Phase A to support the NIH refurbishment effort. The tasks to be completed are as follows: installation of Horizontal Cabling; installation of Fiber and Copper Riser cabling; Build-out the Main Building network; Build-out of the Tel/LAN Infrastructure; Procurement of Network Hardware, etc. This award will preserve and create jobs and promote economic recovery as well as invest in transportation, environment protection and other infrastructure that will provide long-term economic benefits.
