- Industry comments for Draft FDIO SOW. Business declaration for vender size. FDIO (PC/RCU) Specification Draft FDIO (PC/RCU) Statement of Work for industry comment. This market survey is issued in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) paragraph 3.2.1.2.1, to obtain information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside this requirement among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small business’s or 8(a) certified firms. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from large businesses, small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small business; and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing FDIO Personal Computer-Remote Control Unit (PC/RCU) as described in Attachment A. The FAA intends to procure PC/RCU’s to replace the existing PC/RCU’s at various locations throughout United States. The FAA will not pay for any information received or cost incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor expense. This market survey is not a request for proposal (RFP). A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is also attached (Attachment A) for industry comment. In providing comments, vendors may either redline the document; use the Comments Form (Attachment D) provided as one of the attachments or do a combination of both. The FAA may use some, none, or all of the information provided to assist in refining the final SOW. At this time, the nature of the competition has not been determined. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 334111, Computer Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000 people. Firms interested in participating in the aforementioned survey, shall submit a capabilities statement not to exceed 10 pages in length, addressing the following: 1.Describe your experience and ability to provide PC/RCU’s as described in (Attachment B), FDIO PC/RCU Specification. 2.Identify any subcontractor or teaming arrangements that may be used to fulfill the requirements 3.A completed Business Declaration Form is required (Attachment C).
