- American Recovery and Reinvestment ACT (ARRA) Award: A one year technical services support contract was awarded to Delta Building Services to assist the General Services Administration modernization efforts at the Bryon Rogers Federal Office Building and the New Custom House both located in Denver, Colorado. The SOW for this project:Provide a total of 1600 hours of operations and maintenance technical support throughout design, construction and commissionin phases of the project. Provide input and assistance to the project design team on an as needed basis, particularly concerning mechanical and electrical aspects of the project.Review and provide comments on all equipment testing specifications.Review submittals for proposed materials and equipment to ensure they are suitable for their intended application and will not be unusually difficult to operate or maintain. Maintain a submittal review log for each project. Provide feedback and recommendations regarding equipment layout and building specifics. Ensure that layout allows for easy access and maintenance of all equipment. Present any concerns to appropriate GSA project manager.Perform daily inspections in order to confirm that project materials, equipment, working conditions, and workmanship are in compliance with project design specifications. Monitor new equipment and materials to ensure they are in compliance with project specifications. Provide a log to document compliance. Notify appropriate GSA ARRA project manager immediately of any discrepancies. Monitor project demolition phase to ensure that equipment and support infrastructure which needs to remain functional is not removed or damaged.  Provide fire alarm control room operations and provide fire alarm assistance to GSA Fire Marshall as needed. Attend equipment maintenance and operation training sessions and provide training to individuals as identified by GSA.
