- QUESTIONS: I have a few questions regarding the recent site visit at the LeMay Center Building 1406. Do you have the Serial Numbers for the Owner Furnished Polycom equipment for the White Noise Room? Also has this equipment been tested and updated. Basically is it in working order or is the successful vendor responsible for making sure it is in working order? What is the schedule for starting and completion of this work? Will the rooms be available during normal weekday working hours? ANSWERS: The Polycom MGC-100 is located in the White Room in Building 1406. The MGC 100 is brand new; however it has never been installed. The items that the government has are listed in the SOR Par 3.4.5.3 "Install and upgrade GFE Polycom MGC-100, MG323 Card, IP 24 Card, A+24/48 Card, A+12/24 Card, 2 Power supplies, twenty-two (22) Via Video II part# 200-20050-001, VSX 8000, and Video Conferencing Camera APTZ-2N." If the government chooses to exercise this option (option three) the successful vendor will be responsible to make it work. Note that to make it work using the GFE the vendor still has to provide some additional equipment. In addition, the SOR also calls for an option (option four, paragraph 3.4.)5.7) for the vendor to provide a quote to furnish and install all vendor furnished equipment. At this time there is not set schedule for starting and completion of this work. Once funds are allocated the government will work with 42nd Contracting and vendor. Upon firm selection of the dates for installation (have the room down); the room shall be available during normal duty hours. However, if the vendor needs to work outside normal duty hours, the government will accommodate to make sure that the job is completed on time and the room becomes operational with minimal disturbance/days down.
