Description
The purpose of this amendment is to change the Scope of Work as follows: Under the Scope of Work, section 3.4.3 Pomo Cultural Center, item 0001CC Monthly, delete item e. Remove all foreign matter, including cobwebs, nests, insect materials, leaves, mud, debris and dirt from exterior of building using pressure washer. Under item 0001CD Annually: March (last week of), delete item d. Remove all foreign material from exterior of building (pressure washing permitted) including cobwebs, nests, insect materials, mud and dirt. In lieu of deleted item d., add item e. Remove all foreign matter, including cobwebs, nests, insect materials, leaves, mud, debris and dirt from exterior of building using pressure washer. The revised section of the amended Scope of Work should look like these next 2 paragraphs (reflected as page 24 of the solicitation package): 0001CC Monthly: a. Seal and wax lobby and restroom floors. Maintain floors in a polished state with no black marks. Use a non-slip wax. b. Vacuum to remove all spiders and webbing on walls, doors, windows, light fixtures and fire alarms, up to 11 feet high. Special care should be taken to make sure that fire alarm sensors are kept clear of webbing to prevent triggering of a false alarm. c. Wash interior and exterior of windows. After cleaning, the frames, sills, screens, casings and transparent surfaces will be free of all traces of film, dirt, smudges, water, streaks, cobwebs or any foreign matter. d. Remove fingerprints from all painted surfaces on exhibits and walls in Interpretive Gallery and Lobby. 0001CD Annually: March( last week of). a. Completely clean all carpet areas, mats and upholstered chairs, using a hot water extraction or steam method. b. Apply an anti-static treatment to carpet and mats after cleaning. c. Clean all painted surfaces of exhibits and walls in Interpretive Gallery and Lobby. d. Strip tile areas and reapply a tile sealer. e. Remove all foreign matter, including cobwebs, nests, insect materials, leaves, mud, debris and dirt from exterior of building using pressure washer
