Description

The purpose of this amendment is answer questions received in response to the revised listing and clarify the period of performance. 1. For all premier service line items, the requirement is for a period of performance of 12 months from date of award for all serial numbers (i.e. if award was made on 30 Sep 10, PoP for coverage for all units would be 30 Sep 10 - 29 Sep 11). The Government understands that some serial numbers currently have coverage dates that end after 30 Sep 10, but we want to coterm the coverage for all units to end on the same date. 2. For the reinstatement fee line items, the number of months in the PoP column refers to the length of time the units have been without coverage. These line items do not actually have a PoP; rather they are simply for the one time reinstatement costs the Government needs to pay in order to be able to get premier service for the units. 3. The requirement is advertised as Polycom brand premier service. However, if you are a Polycom Certified Service Partner and are authorized by Polycom to offer your own brand of maintenance service this is also acceptable. The Government will verify your company's status as a Polycom Certified Service Partner with Polycom before award. If there are any additional questions please don't hesitate to contact me.
