Description
RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): HDR-CDM, JV, W912PL-09-D-0033-0015, Santa Paula Creek, Ventura County, CA The Architect-Engineer (A-E) shall prepare a Hydrology, Hydraulics, and Sedimentation Appendix, a geotechnical field investigation and report, and an Environmental Assessment (EA) to support design solutions for scour and overtopping issues, prepare a Design Documentation Report (DDR), and prepare a Biological Assessment (BA) in support of 90% construction drawings and specifications for the Santa Paula Creek flood control project located in the City of Santa Paula. The A-E shall incorporate proposed project inlet and fish ladder design, as described in the Field Change Report, and develop design solutions resolving both the toe protection (scour) issue through the upper reaches of the project, as well as the downstream overtopping issues that were identified in the prior work. The scour problem extends from immediately below the project inlet to upstream of the railroad bridge. The overtopping issue for the 28,000 cfs event extends from the vicinity of the Highway 126 bridges to the downstream end of the project on both sides of the channel.
