Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Synopsis for Bottle Liquid Scanners/Analyzers for the US Secret Service. Items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement is the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is BottleScanners251201 and is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-12. The NAICS code is 334516 Analytical Equipment Manufacturing. Offerors must be registered in Central Contract Registration (CCR). This acquisition is firm-fixed price and solicited in accordance with 6.1. The description and specification provided herein, is essential to the Government's requirement. The Government will award a single purchase order to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the requirements as stated in this synopsis and is the lowest price technically acceptable. This government requirement is for the purchase and delivery for the following items. T he government intends to award a firm, fixed price purchase order to the responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to the Request for Proposal as provided herein. This product will be transported and therefore all requirements requirements below are taking this usage into consideration. The US Secret Service request quotes for •· Two (2) Bottle Liquid Analyzer with appropriate carrying/transportation case and installation, as appropriate. Minimum Requirement are as follows: •o All items are required to have passed qualification testing by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and consequently listed on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Act Approved List (APL) by the closing date of this combined synopsis/solicitation. Information regarding this requirement can be found at www.safetyact.gov. Unit submitted in quote must be that unit that is on TSA APL. •o Certified MIL-STD 810F specifications for ruggedness •o Has warm-up time no longer than 15 minutes. •· Two (2) Enclosure •· Two (2) Warranty for 4-years - one for each system •· Two (2) Additional Rechargeable Swapable Batteries that allow for continued usage in a remote/offsite areas, without the ability to access/use AC power supply, for a minimum of 8 hours, longer preferrered. (Only batteries are acceptable for this) •· Two (2) Shipping case that hold enclosures •· Training for 13-25 people The following FAR Provisions and Clauses are applicable unless otherwise noted: Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation ?
