- Description
- The 700th Contracting Squadron (700 CONS), Ramstein Air Base, Germany has a requirement for the personal services of 2 qualified and experienced Registered Nurses (1 Utilization Manager (UM) and 1 Case Manger (CM))with a unrestricted and current licenses to implement local, on-site UM and CM programs at the Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Medical Treatment Facility for the 86th Medical Group. Medical services may be scheduled between 0600 and 1900 hours Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. Federal holidays. Contractor will need to have an understanding of the DoD Contractor Personnel Office (DOCPER) processes for obtaining troop care status approval in Germany to ensure compliance with Host Nation Criteria. The contractor employees have the possibility to be eligible for special status under Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) status accreditation Article 72 (Troop Care Accreditation Status). Relocation costs will be reimbursed. The relocation costs cover only one relocation per contractor employee to Outside Contiguous United States (OCONUS) and return to their home. Subcontracting is not authorized. Qualification requirements: Graduation from an accredited educational institution, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Basic Life Support (BLS), valid unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the United States. (i) Specification and qualification requirement in order to be eligible for award: (a) Ability to provide and meet the qualification of the specialties required; (b) Knowledge of Host Nation requirements (ii) Unit of Issue: Months (iii) The performance period of this contract will be for 10-month base period, plus two 12-month option periods. (iv) Contract award will be made to the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offeror, with a satisfactory past performance record. (13) The anticipated award will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract with an expected award date of date 5 November 2010. (14) This solicitation is unrestricted. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contract Registry (CCR). Go to the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov/ for more information. As this is an overseas effort, the Service Contract Act (SCA) wages and Small Business Administration (SBA) Small Business Size Standards will not apply.
