- GORMAN RUPP PUMP The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Petersburg located at1060 River Road in Hopewell, VA, intends to issue solicitation RFQP0114110070, for the requirement of: Gorman Rupp Pump which will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website. The order will be placed by the Facilities Department. The order will need to be delivered no later than October 19, 2010. The pump will need to be delivered to the FCC Petersburg (Warehouse), 1060 River Road, Hopewell, VA 23860. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The government will award to the responsible offor(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation that is considered to be the best overall value to the government in regards to price, delivery and past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about September 21, 2010, and will be posted to the General Service Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. This website provides all downloading instructions on how to obtain a copy of the solicitation. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be available. Faith-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts in which they are eligible. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the referenced website. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses with 51-100 employees. All responsible business sources are encouraged to submit a quote for consideration. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information regarding this solicitation. All quotes must be received no later than September 24, 2010, 2:00p.m. eastern standard time. The anticipated date of award will be on or about September 27, 2010. The government reserves the right to decide how payment will be made using either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Government Purchase Card. Each offer is required per 52.212-3, to complete their presentations and certifications via the on-line presentations and Certification Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. All potential offorers must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database at http://ccr.gov.
