- Questions and Answers: Q1. I understand that LEED experience is required, but need a little more guidance as to the other desired skills and position responsibilities for the following titles: - Sr. Principal Consultant - Sr. Analyst - IAQ Specialist/Consultant - Analyst - Training Specialist A1. The labor categories above are all standard industry categories, however, we expect all proposed analysts, consultants and training specialists to possess the specialized experience in the required field (LEED, Green Buildings, etc). Resumes must be submitted with the proposal for the labor categories above. Competencies of an IAQ Specialist: knowledge & experience [performing or overseeing] construction indoor air quality plans; reviewing MSDS for construction materials (including paints, sealants, carpeting, adhesives; indoor air sampling; asbestos and lead surveys; asbestos abatement oversight and industrial hygiene sampling. Q2. Please confirm how many buildings are in the portfolio program and what regions of the country they are located. A2. Number of buildings: minimum of 50 buildings, maximum of 100. Location: Nationwide. Across Public Buildings Service (PBS) regions (not limited to specific geographies) Q3. Where can I find out more information regarding R -- LEED GA and LEED AP Training Program GS- 00P-10-CY-C-0135? A3. The PBS has two requirements for LEED (GS-00P-10-CY-C-0135 and GS-00P-10-CY-C-0314) using FAR Part 12 combined synopsis/solicitation. All proposal information regarding the two projects will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS under the solicitation numbers stated above. A separate Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be uploaded. Contractors must submit their proposal(s) as stated in the FEDBIZOPPS announcement by 2:00pm Friday, September 24, 2010 to be considered for award. Additionally, the Contractor will be required to respond to the Evaluation Criteria.
