- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT, A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. There is no bid package or solicitation. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast (NAVFAC SE) is seeking qualified and interested parties in any of the following Small Business categories: U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a), HUBZone Small Business (HUBZone), Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and/or all other Small Business (SB) sources with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capabilities to perform under this proposed project. The requirement is located aboard Marine Core Logistics Base (MCLB) Albany, GA. The Facility Support Services contract will be a combination firm fixed price (FFP) and indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a base period of twelve months and four (4) one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $35.5 million. The Government invites contractors with the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements to submit Capability Statements consisting of appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references anticipated to be five to ten pages, following the set format. Respondents must include references and a capability statement for at least two completed projects within the last three years that are similar to the work described below. Each reference shall include the company name and title, telephone number, and point of contact. The capability statements for each project shall be numbered consistent with the below requirements followed by supporting documentation. The proposed requirement includes all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform Facility Investment Services aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany GA. Facilities Support Services includes but is not limited to the maintenance, repair, alteration, demolition, certification, testing and minor construction at various locations at Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany GA on the following: (1)HVAC and Refrigeration Systems, (2)Air Compressors, (3)Weight Scales, (4)Force Protection Systems, (5)Above Ground Storage Tanks, (6)Dust Collectors, (7)Boilers Cranes, (8)Fire Protection Systems, (9)Backflow Prevention Devices, (10)Vertical Transportation Equipment, (11)Grease Traps, (12)Exhaust Hoods and Ducts, (13)Sodium Sulfide Chemicals, (14)Compressed Natural Gas Stations, (15)Other Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization to Building Structures, Building Systems, Roads, and Paved Surfaces. Respondents shall provide a list of projects by contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, project completion dates, performance ratings and evidence of the following specific capabilities: 1.Identify whether your firm is a self-certified Small Business or SDVOSB, or an SBA certified 8 (a) or HUBZone firm. If you are an 8(a) or HUBZone firm, provide proof of SBA certification. If you are submitting as a mentor-protégé joint venture under the 8(a) program, you must provide SBA approval of the mentor-protégé agreement to be considered as small for this procurement. For more information on the definition or requirements for these, refer to http://www.sba.gov/. 2.Provide examples of projects performed as a prime contractor within the last three years of maintenance, repair, alteration, demolition, certification, testing and minor construction HVAC and refrigeration systems, compressors, weight scales, force protection systems, above ground storage tanks, dust collectors, boilers, fire protection systems, vertical transportation equipment, backflow prevention devices, grease traps, exhaust hoods and ducts, sodium sulfide chemicals, compressed natural gas stations. Indicate project specifics and provide references with names and phone numbers. The Government will use responses to this SOURCES SOUGHT announcement to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a proposal, but rather short statements regarding the company ™s ability to demonstrate existing-or-developed expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified herein. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the Capabilities statement. Submission of Capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the Government in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities.
