THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE US EPA CONTRACTOR UNDER CONTRACT EP-W-07-104. REQUESTS AND/OR INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ADDRESSED. IT IS THE INTENT OF THE US EPA TO APPROVE A WORK ASSIGNMENT UNDER THIS EXISTING CONTRACT. The purpose of this announcement is to obligate $5,000.00 of ARRA funding to initiate contractor level of effort for eligible Tribal work at the Newcomb Trading Post NAV 207 LUST site. The period of performance is from December 1, 2009 to September 28, 2011. Site activities include removal of 2,000 cubic yards of contaminated soil and installation of up to two underwater monitoring wells. This work assignment may be amended with additional funding for additional site remediation activities. The site is located on Navajo Trust lands in Newcomb, New Mexico in San Juan County.
