This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number VA-262-10-RQ-0567 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) as a brand name or equal. Brand name or equal description is intended to indicate the quality and characteristic of products that will be considered satisfactory to meet the agency requirements. No telephone quotes will be accepted. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 337127 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. This solicitation was prepared by VISN 22 NETWORK CONTRACTING ACTIVITY on behalf of Veteran Affairs Loma Linda Health Care System to build procure custom training tables with electronic monitor arm that will secure monitors during nonuse as well as act as a writing surface desk when computer work is unecessary. Tables are to include electronic monitor column switch, full modesty, wire management, power entry whips, cpu holder and fully articulating keyboard tray. Specified laminate for work surface includes sugar maple, bullnose edge, black, body black. All other accessories black. Remote control monitor lockdown system is required. Minimum warranty on mechanical parts is 12 years. Minimum warranty electrical parts is 3 years. Please read carefully: Delivery and installation cost MUST include receiving & inspecting product offsite at VENDORS warehouse, not Veteran Affaris Loma Linda Health Care System due to limitations intemporary storage at the Loma Linda facilities. Delivery to Loma Linda will be scheduled by Loma Linda within a reasonable time after all products are received. Delivery and installation includes removal of all packing and debris related to packing and shipping of products. At the time of delivery, the equipment and all associated equipment shall be new, free from defects and in good working condition. Re-manufactured equipment will not be accepted. Services of an electrician or telecommunications contractor are not to be included as Loma Linda will provide that service.
